Shelby County Road Embargo rescinded
(Harlan, Iowa) – A road embargo on gravel roads in Shelby County issued late last week due to soft soil conditions, will officially be rescinded today (Tuesday). The Shelby County Engineer’s Office says due to improving weather and road conditions, the Shelby County Road Embargo will be lifted at 5 PM on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. “Please be mindful as certain roadways and shoulders remain soft. Thank You for your assistance during this time.”
