Shelter rebellion in Adıyaman: The mayor should build it in his own village!

The residents of Ozan Village in Adıyaman rebelled against Gölbaşı Municipality’s decision to build an animal shelter 500 meters from the village. The villagers protested by saying, “The mayor should build the shelter in his own village!” and argued that their living space was under threat. While a statement is awaited from the municipality, the villagers want the decision to be withdrawn. The shelter debate has escalated tensions in Gölbaşı.
