Softball: Park Rapids has potential to be a serious contender in conference, section

PARK RAPIDS – With eight players who started games returning, head coach Marion Goeden believes the Park Rapids fastpitch softball team can be one of the top teams in the Heart O’Lakes Conference and Section 8AA. The Panthers shared the title with Aitkin in the final season of the Mid-State Conference with a 7-1 record while finishing 14-9 overall last spring.
