SOS Orinoco reports 4,000 new hectares of illegal mining in seven months

05-04-25.-The environmental organization SOS Orinoco reported that from September 2024 to March 2025 4,000 new hectares of illegal mining were detected. Through a geolocation system, the organization maintains constant monitoring in areas of mining activity in protected areas.
