Korean Air has been chosen as the ‘preferred bidder’ for the modernisation of the RoK Armed Forces’ UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters.

The Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) of the South Korean Ministry of Defense announced that it has selected Korean Air for a contract for the modernization of UH-60 helicopters. The contract worth about 670 million dollars, still to be signed, provides for the modernization of the UH-60M Black Hawks under the Seoul Air Force and Army.
