SpaceX, ULA, Blue Origin clinch $13.5 billion-dollar Pentagon launch contracts

Elon Musk's SpaceX company is expected to take over a large number of new satellite missions on behalf of the U.S. military. Another contractor is Blue Origin from Jeff Bezos.

SpaceX is responsible for 28 out of 54 missions: Elon Musk's mission is to launch further military satellites with its missiles. The company dominates US commercial space, despite Musk's central role in the US President's team.
