22 members achieve NATO defense goals, Slovenia modest
Of the 32 NATO member states, 22 reached the defense spending target of 2 percent of GDP last year. This is significantly more than in 2023, when only 11 members reached the target. Meanwhile, Slovenia increased its defense spending from 1.32 to 1.37 percent of GDP last year.
