KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) — A controlled burning operation is planned for Bays Mountain Park in early April, and students at Dobyns-Bennett High School will assist with the burn. (Fairbanks, AK) – The Alaska Division of Forestry & Fire Protection (DOF) is partnering with the Alaska Department of Fish & Game to conduct multiple prescribed burns at Creamer’s Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge near Fairbanks starting as early as May 1,  weather and fuel conditions permitting.
