STA: Health in the municipality: Shorter sick leave in Maribor, poorer response to preventive programs

In the Municipality of Maribor, sick leave among employed residents lasted an average of 16 days per year in 2023, which is less than the Slovenian average of 19 days, according to the latest data from the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) on the health of the residents of the municipalities. However, the response to preventive programs is worse than average.
