The Network of Academic Solidarity and Engagement (MASA) called on members of the academic community to resign from all commissions and working bodies of the Republic of Serbia, its cities and municipalities, which would be an act of civil disobedience.
Area ban was unjustified, activists receive compensation
Four climate activists were wrongly banned from the area in 2023 when they called for the blocking of the A12 in The Hague. The Dutch state has acknowledged this in a case at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). The State is offering the Extinction Rebellion (XR) protesters compensation for their legal costs and 900 euros per person for non-material damage.
