Žiga Virc's Kismet will have its world premiere at the 71st Oberhausen Short Film Festival

The Slovenian short films Kismet and Navadna hruška were selected for the 71st International Short Film Festival in Oberhausen. The film Kismet was also selected for the youth film competition, while Navadna hruška was selected for the international competition.

The Slovenian short films Kismet, about the fate of an 11-year-old girl from the Roma community, directed by Žiga Virc, with its world premiere, and The Ordinary Pear, directed by Gregor Božič, have qualified for the 71st International Short Film Festival in Oberhausen, Germany, the Slovenian Film Center (SFC) announced. The film festival will take place from April 29 to May 4.
