In November, three students were sent to the hospital after reportedly inhaling fumes at the school.

State College School District Settles Lawsuit With Female Hockey Players

A settlement has been reached in a federal lawsuit involving the State College Area School District and female students who wanted to play ice hockey.  The suit was filed 3 years ago when the students said they were unfairly denied a chance to join a hockey team affiliated with the district.  The specific terms of the settlement have not been released, as a judge was asked to keep them confidential.
