Study of coexistence and aging in the neighborhood of Ermitagaña

A study aimed at people over 70 years of age in the Basque Country aims to analyze the healthy aging process and the factors that determine it within this population group. The research focuses on assessing living conditions over time to understand their daily lives. The main objective of the study is to establish an observatory of the Basque Country's over-70s population to analyze the processes and care pathways that lead to healthy aging.

Last Tuesday the results of the Diagnosis on Coexistence and Aging of Ermitagaña-Mendebaldea were released. It has been carried out by the Mendigaña 65 Vecinal Motor Group, created last year to improve the quality of life of the elderly people of the neighborhood. The group has been promoted and continues to be coordinated by the Hazialdea Community Association and two workers of the Health Center.
