"Super corals": the reef of hope

With an entire team, Alexis Rosenfeld, a Marseille explorer, took part in a special mission to Polynesia, led by Unesco and the CNRS. It has found several super-species capable of resisting marine heat waves. They are dozens of coral species to thrive there. Yet, a priori, conditions are not conducive to their survival. Extreme temperatures generally lead to this: coral reefs that whiten and die all around the globe. (Environment).
