EU Parliament for Postponement of Supply Chain Law

From the economy it is criticised as a bureaucratic burden: the European Parliament wants to postpone the controversial supply chain law by one year. Now the EU states are on the move.

The controversial EU supply chain law can be postponed, giving companies more time to prepare, but there are still more – probably intensive – negotiations ahead.

The EU Supply Chain Act is to come into force a year later than previously planned. With 531 votes in favor, 69 against, and 17 abstentions, MEPs supported a corresponding Commission proposal in Strasbourg on Thursday.
