On Tuesday, student speakers shared stories about the importance of sexual violence prevention during the annual Take Back the Night (TBTN) rally, presented by the Sexual Harassment/Assault Response & Education (SHARE) Title IX Office. Julie LeBlanc named Maine SAFE Award winner by MECASA
AUGUSTA — Julie LeBlanc, RN, ME-SAFE-A, ME-SAFE-P, SANE-A, and Regional Sexual Assault Forensic Nurse Examiner (SAFE) Program coordinator, has been awarded this year’s Maine SAFE Award by the Maine Coalition Against Sexual Assault (MECASA). LeBlanc, who also won the award in 2021, was honored at a ceremony at the University of Maine at Augusta on Thursday, April 17.
