Over 3,400 people receive royal honours in annual 'lintjesregen' - DutchNews.nl

More than 3,400 Dutch people were awarded a medal today during the traditional ribbon shower. That is more than last year (3,372) and the year before (2,830). The youngest is 25 years old, the oldest 97 years old. In the category of famous Dutch people, songwriter Belinda Meuldijk was one of the winners, as was thriller author Tomas Ross.
