The Directorate of Religious Affairs did not mention the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in its sermon this week, which coincided with April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day. In the Friday sermon dated April 25, which mentioned halal earnings, it was stated that black market and hoarding were prohibited and that workers' headscarves could not be interfered with; but not a single word was mentioned about Atatürk.
