Court approves ban on fossil fuel advertisements in The Hague; ANVR and TUI disappointed

The Hague is the first city in the Netherlands to introduce a ban on advertising for air travel and cruise holidays, among other things.

The municipality of The Hague may enforce the advertising ban for travel. This is evident from a court ruling in summary proceedings filed by travel umbrella ANVR and travel company TUI on Friday. They are considering an appeal.
