The Breton mayors are increasingly exposed to harassment and assault. For several weeks, those of Morlaix and Saint-Brieuc have been threatened by a man who suspects them of being in the pay of Hamas. Jean-Paul Vermot, the mayor of Morlaix, testifies.

In September 2024, Hervé Guihard, Mayor of Saint-Brieuc, was stabbed by a man in a bar in the city. He is now harassed by an individual who lends him acquaintance with Hamas. Jean-Paul Vermot, Mayor of Morlaix, is also the victim of this harassment.
