Minister of Finance reaffirms that low rates will help boost growth

He said that there was a commitment by the Government to comply with the fiscal rule and to reduce public debt.

The negotiations on the double budget 2025/26 were not easy. This was shown by the debate on the government's draft. Although the opposition affirmed willingness to talk, it hardly left a good hair on the proposal.

Minister of Finance Jens Stoltenberg will travel to Warsaw on 10-12 April and participate in the meeting of the EU Council of Finance Ministers (ECOFIN) on 11 April.
