Deputy CFO Fredrik Hansson has taken over for Johan Ekdahl, who resigned after nearly a decade on the job.

Volvo starts production of the EX30 in Belgium to better serve the European market. The brand’s smallest electric SUV will generate 350 new jobs and soon add up to a Cross Country version. Up to 10 electrified models are already produced in Europe.

Production of the small Volvo EX30 electric SUV has started in Belgium. The model was officially started in production at the Ghent site on April 25, 2025.
