Chip production in Poland? Yes, but not the Intel factory near Wrocław. Adam Piotrowski, a physicist and president of Vigo Photonics, is working on launching a Polish semiconductor factory. As part of an investment worth around PLN 1 billion, the company will build a factory for infrared chips that revolutionize the way electronic devices collect data.
