If you look in a good thrift store, you can find a Picasso bowl worth 5 million.

A rare Picasso ceramic bowl turned up in a donation shop in Antwerp, and was eventually sold for the equivalent of more than 5 million forints.

After the earlier discovery of an original etching by James Ensor, donated to the KMSKA, jaws dropped again at Kringwinkel Antwerp. Employee Frank De Buel (65) of the ‘special items’ department in the central depot in Merksem discovered a white earthenware bowl with the stamp ‘Empreinte Originale de Picasso’. The bowl has since been auctioned.
