The National Weather Service has determined that another tornado has hit Dallas County. The latest tornado hit near the Sardis community of Dallas County on Sunday morning around church time. Jessica Laws, NWS meteorologist, said the tornado touched down at 10:13 a.m. Sunday near Sixmile Creek off of County Road 67 and stayed on the ground for two minutes covering a path length of 1.32 miles.
