After Mexico lost last December the panel discussion on genetically modified maize (GMO) with the United States, the Secretariat of Economy (SE) issued on Wednesday the document that implements the resolution. Two years after the publication of the Andrés Manuel López Obrador Administration’s initiative, the Mexican government had to lift the ban on GM maize.
