Two young women rescued by firefighters in Slatina after their car fell into an irrigation canal

Firefighters from Slatina, Olt county, intervened to rescue young women, aged 17 and 24, who were involved in a road accident. The two were in a car that fell into an irrigation canal. When the rescuers arrived, the young women were on the ceiling of the hand that had been submerged in the water. They suffered mild hypothermia and received medical attention at the scene.
