Uber is reportedly coming to Slovenia, the ministry confirmed the talks

The digital application, such as that used by Uber, is not legally regulated in Slovenia as a possible form of payment for taxi services.

According to Žurnal24, the American transportation and delivery platform Uber is planning to enter the Slovenian market. The Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy confirmed talks with company representatives, but added that the timeline and method of entering the market cannot yet be announced. Uber has reportedly already contacted several taxi drivers.
