Police Investigate Fatal Pedestrian Accident In Georgetown

Police are investigating a collision involving a pedestrian that occurred early Tuesday morning on Dupont Boulevard in Georgetown. The incident happened at approximately 4:59 a.m. in the area of the Classic Motel. A portion of Dupont Boulevard was closed for investigation after emergency crews responded to a fatal pedestrian crash Tuesday morning.

Georgetown Police Investigating Deadly Early Morning Crash on Route 113

Georgetown Police are investigating a pedestrian crash that occurred just before 5am Tuesday. Police say a truck was northbound on Route 113 north of West North Street when a 38 year old Georgetown man entered the northbound lane – into  the path of the truck.
