Update: The current winter weather advisory will expire at 1 p.m.

The advisory was for Northern Wayne and Southern Wayne as well as Pike County."Temperatures will rise this afternoon and widespread freezing rain is no longer expected. However, there will still be a few cold spots where freezing rain will linger until later this afternoon, especially in the higher elevation areas," says the National Weather Service.
