FORMER Finance Minister Tendai Biti has castigated the government over the wage stalemate with University of Zimbabwe (UZ) lecturers, saying the once-noble professionals have been reduced to a mockery.
UZ lecturers, professors go on strike
Lecturers and professors at the University of Zimbabwe are protesting outside the campus, saying their pay is too low. They earn only US$230 which is around 4,181 rand a month.
