Kosovo's legislature has sworn in the 120 lawmakers who will sit in the newly elected Assembly, or Parliament, after procedural disputes between the political parties but failed twice to elect a new speaker, a process which may take the country into a prolonged legislative crisis.

Hadžiju was not elected as the President of the Assembly of Kosovo despite repeated voting
The new members of the Kosovo Assembly took the oath today, but the attempt to vote for the president of the new convocation of the legislative body failed on two occasions. The Self-Determination candidate, Aljbuljena Hadžiju, did not receive enough votes, i.e. out of the minimum number of 61, 57 MPs voted for her both the first and second time. The session was postponed until Monday, reports KoSSev.
