Kosovo's legislature swore on Saturday to 120 legislators for the new parliamentary session after procedural disputes between political parties, but failed to elect a new chamber leader on two occasions, which could lead the country to a protracted legislative crisis.

The new members of the Kosovo Assembly took the oath today, but the attempt to vote for the president of the new convocation of the legislative body failed on two occasions. The Self-Determination candidate, Aljbuljena Hadžiju, did not receive enough votes, i.e. out of the minimum number of 61, 57 MPs voted for her both the first and second time. The session was postponed until Monday, reports KoSSev.
