A majority in the House of Representatives believes that veterinary costs have risen so high that they are advocating maximum rates. Only State Secretary Rummenie does not want to do that (yet), to the great frustration of the members of the House of Representatives. "He simply needs to think harder. People are now paying bills that I did not even know existed," says NSC member Pieter Omtzigt.
