Scandal in Chisinau, in the party in power, after the release from prison of dangerous criminals

After the release from detention of Alexandru Sinigur, sentenced to life for several particularly serious crimes, but also after pressure from the public, PAS deputies again amended the Amnesty Law.

The Action and Solidarity party excluded Olesea Stamate from the party, asking her to serve as a deputy after several dangerous criminals were released against the background of the amnesty law that was amended by her. In response, the MP said she was innocent.

Parliament has urgently approved, in two readings, the reinterpretation of the article in the Amnesty Law, which made possible the recent release of several criminals previously sentenced to life imprisonment. Thus, a convicted person whose sentence has been reduced or commuted will not be able to be released on parole before the end of his term.
