Viktor Orbán held face-to-face talks with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in Rome on the development of Hungarian-Italian cooperation, current European Union issues, and the efforts of Hungary and Italy for peace, the Prime Minister's Communications Department informed MTI.

Viktor Orbán is attending the funeral of Pope Francis in Rome. His trip was accompanied by a meeting with Giorgia Meloni, whose support he publicly thanked.
