They are separated by only 113 kilometers, but their earnings are higher or lower by tens of thousands of crowns. And with them, their living standards are different. Last year, people in Karlovy Vary and the surrounding region earned an average of only 40,464 crowns per month in the private sector, while in Prague it was 63,106 crowns. The difference between them was almost 56 percent.
