Warming shelters open amid very cold temperatures

People Advocating for Change for Empowerment (PACE) in Thunder Bay, Ont., has extended its hours, thanks to a recent funding boost from the Thunder Bay District Social Services Administration Board. The centre is currently open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m until 7 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. However, it does stay open later during extreme cold warnings.
