What did I walk to Kashgar

Article by Joaquim Magalhães de Castro. I entered Kashgar at nightfall and immediately felt that I was going to stay there for a while. In fact, not only did I stay there all this dry and cold winter, but I would visit the city and the region again on several occasions. Over the course of a decade and a half, I witnessed the immense transformations that have taken place in the meantime.
