Windtech International - Biodiversity-focused innovation integrated into French floating wind pilot

Ocean Winds, in partnership with Banque des Territoires, has completed the installation of 32 Biohuts on one of the three floaters of the Éoliennes flottantes du golfe du Lion (EFGL) pilot wind farm. The Biohuts—developed by French ecological engineering company Ecocean—are artificial nursery habitats designed to support marine life by mimicking natural coastal environments.
