Windtech International - RWE commissions battery storage system in the Netherlands to support offshore wind integration
RWE has commissioned a battery storage system in the Netherlands at its Eemshaven power station. With a total capacity of 35 MW and a storage capacity of 41 MWh, the system will help balance power supply and demand in the Dutch electricity grid.
