Winter season of 2025 approaches historical levels of affectation recorded thirteen years ago, according to specialists

After thirteen years, the stage is repeated during the winter season: intense rains, overflowing rivers, landslides in mountainous areas, floods and structural collapses resulting from precipitation. Among the provinces hit most by winter are Manabi, Los Ríos, Guayas, El Oro and Esmeraldas.
