Woman Killed In Crash With Semi in Marshall County, MN

MARSHALL CO., Minn. (KVRR) — A 79-year-old woman from Karlstad, Minnesota is dead after a crash with a semi on Highway 59. The crash happened in the noon hour, just northwest of Newfolden. Minnesota State Patrol says the woman was driving south when she collided with the northbound semi. The semi driver, 64-year-old Robert Benson of Mahnomen, was not hurt. One dead in Marshall County crash

(NEW FOLDEN TOWNSHIP, MINN) – One person is dead after a crash in Marshall County. The Minnesota State Patrol says a 2021 Ford Escape, driven by a 79-year-old Karlstad woman, was southbound on Highway 59 when a 2014 Western Star Semi, driven by a 64-year-old Robert Benson, of Mahnomen, was northbound on the same highway. The two vehicles collided. The Minnesota State Patrol says more information will be released later.

NEWFOLDEN, MN—A woman from Karlstad was killed in a two vehicle collision Thursday afternoon in Newfolden Township.  The Minnesota State Patrol says an SUV driven by a 79-year-old woman from Karlstad was going south on Highway 59 at 12:48pm when it collided with a northbound semi driven by 64-year-old Robert Benson of Mahnomen.   The victim’s name has not been released.  Benson was not injured.
