The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating an aggravated assault incident that occurred at a residence in the 1000 block of Carlisle Ave just after 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Deputies responded to a call reporting a person shot and upon arrival located a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
